Stephen Hill

I am interested to see what people think about Stephen Hill at the top of the 2nd round. The guy has only caught 49 balls in all of his college playing days (due to the fact the GT runs the triple option), but last year he averaged almost 30 yards per catch. He wowed at the combine in just about every drill--his athleticism is as impressive as any Wideout to come through the combine in recent history. When you watch his tape, he actually plays with that speed, too. He also spent his college career learning how to block in the run game. There is certainly a lot to be seen as to how he transitions and runs intermediate routes, as opposed to vertical routes, but I really like the idea of picking him up in the 2nd.

I think it also gives us options in round one. Of course, this is predicated upon his actually being there at the top of the 2nd, something that I advocated would not happen a few weeks back, but I have come down on that. If that was the plan though, you could get an Ingram or Coples or Perry at 10, or even trade back for the same position or an elite corner.

Thoughts?

Just another great fan opinion shared on the pages of BuffaloRumblings.com.
