With all the talk about who we're going to add in the draft and what we need to do, it got me thinking about the other side. Of course, this is far too early for this kind of talk, but... let's do it anyway. I'd like to know who you think will get cut either before or during training camp - who are the guys who you want to or think might get the axe this summer

Here are mine:

Chris Kelsay - With Mario Williams and Mark Anderson now in the fold and Shawne Merriman in rotation behind them, I don't see the value in keeping a 32 year old backup at $5.75M. When you consider that he's averaged about 2 tackles a game and has contributed 30.5 sacks in 138 games over 9 seasons, it makes even less sense.

Dwan Edwards - Dareus and Williams in the middle with Troup as part of the rotation - I fully expect him and his $4.175M cap number to be expelled... or

Spencer Johnson - Basically the same situation - $4M cap number. I don't see how both of these guys can stay

Leodis McKelvin - For the record, I don't see this happening, but it's a possibility. His fall on the depth chart, that fact that this is a contract year, his lack of consistent production and the rule changes that limit his effectiveness as a returner all factor in. That said, it's not like we have a ton of depth here, so this is unlikely, IMO.

What to do with the excess money? Re-sign your key guys of course - they still have Jackson who was assured of getting a contract, Levitre, and Byrd as the main players to re-sign.
