Trading Back

Hi all. Long-time reader, first-time poster here.

I've been reading a lot about the possibility of trading back this year. Nix doesn't mix words when he says that he prefers to accumulate draft picks. I think it is a good possibility that the Bills do trade back this year if they can find a willing partner (big if - Buffalo is not in an enviable position at 10 unless there is a surprise drop like Tannehill or maybe Coples). In a trade back scenario, I've heard a lot of names mentioned as targets, but no one seems to be considering Coby Fleener as someone Buddy would consider there.

I think Fleener could be an interesting target if we trade to the back of round one. We know the Bills need a receiving threat, but I think there is a ton of risk/not much value in the WRs who will likely be left at the end of round one. Who says a "receiving threat" needs to be a WR? What about a tall, fast, TE with reliable hands? Teams attack out of a two TE front and with the personnel the Bills have today, they can't run this set.

I am not saying this will happen, or the Bills FO is even considering it, but for some reason, I wouldn't be shocked if we ended up with Fleener at the end of round one. What do you guys think?

Just another great fan opinion shared on the pages of BuffaloRumblings.com.
