Our Mock 5.5.2

With the Bills first 5th round selection Bills fans en-mass supported taking CB Donnie Fletcher with 30% of the vote. In second was CB Keith Tandy with 18% of the vote followed by OT Levy Adcock with 11% of the vote. With the Bills second 5th round pick just a few spots after, I've elected to keep most of the names from the last poll around. Here is our mock so far...

1. WR Michael Floyd - Notre Dame
2. TE Coby Fleener - Stanford
3. LB Tank Carder - TCU
4. OT Nate Potter - Boise State
4. QB Russell Wilson - Wisconsin
5. CB Donnie Fletcher - Boston College

While the Bills taking a quarterback, I am taking that option off the list. Other options still available are slot receiver, cornerback, defensive lineman depth, linebacker depth, and offensive line depth. As always, we are anchored by the results from the NFL combine and several pro-days. I shall input these as well as rankings/information on players from sites including Walter Football, CBS Sports and Drafttek. Statistics are courtesy from CFB Stats. Remember to vote and use the comments to support your choice below.

OG Ryan Miller - Colorado [6-7, 321, 5.27]
The Bills have three guards with starting experience that are set to become free agents in 2012. Miller looked good playing inside and had 32 bench press reps at the combine. Miller could also backup at right tackle and has the bigger build CHIX seems to like in their linemen.

OT Levy Adcock - Oklahoma State [6-5, 318, 5.14]
Although we have picked up Nate Potter in the mock to compete at left tackle with Chris Hairston, the Bills could still look to add a backup right tackle. Adcock has experience on both the left and right tackle spots in protecting Brandon Weeden and had a good pro-day despite not receiving an invite to the combine.

WR T.J. Graham - North Carolina State [5-11, 188, 4.41]
With Parrish gone, the Bills could look to add a speed slot receiver. Graham has good speed posting a 4.41' 40 and a 1.47' 10 yard dash at the combine. In his senior year Graham has caught 46 passes for 757 yards and 7 TDs while returning 17 punts for 195 yards and 1 TD.

WR Jairus Wright - Arkansas [5-10, 182, 4.42]
Wright had a fair combine, but showed his speed well with a 4.42' 40 and a 1.45' 10 yard dash while also notching a a 38" vertical. Over the last two years, Wright has been fairly productive with 108 receptions for 1,905 yards and 17 touchdowns.

DT Marcus Forston - Miami [6-1, 301, 5.10]
The Bills could look to add depth at the DT position as both Dwan Edwards and Spencer Johnson could be cap casualties. Forston had a strong combine performance posting 35 bench presses which he needed after missing most of his junior year due to suspensions and injuries. In 2010 Forston posted 37 tackles (12 for loss), 3 sacks and 2 hurries.

DT DaJohn Harris - USC [6-3, 306,4.96]
Harris sat out of the combine after doctors found a hole in his heart, but since then has been cleared to play football. Harris in turn made up for this with a strong pro-day posting 28 bench presses and fast 40 times. Over the last two seasons Harris posted 57 tackles (12.5 for loss) and 5 sacks

DE Jack Crawford - Penn State [6-5, 274, 4.76]
The Bills have 2 two new DEs from free agency, but Anderson and Kelsay are over 30 and Merriman is often injured. Crawford had a fair combine, much like his senior year. In the last two seasons Crawford has made 54 tackles (12 for loss) and 8.5 sacks.

DE Tim Fugger - Vanderbilt [6-3, 248, 4.60]
Fugger had a strong pro-day with 29 bench presses and a fast 40 time. Over the last 2 seasons he made 55 tackles (18.5 for loss), 10 sacks, 4 hurries and 7 forced fumbles.

LB James Michael Johnson - Nevada [6-1, 241, 4.61]
The Bills could be looking to add depth to their linebacker corps even after taking Carder in this mock. Johnson had a strong combine with 23 bench press reps, a 37" vertical and a fast 40. Over the last two years Johnson has made 188 tackles (14.5 for loss), 4 sacks, 4 forced fumbles and 5 passes defended.

LB Terrell Manning - North Carolina State [6-2, 237, 4.63]
Manning had a good combine and had a good 40 yard dash time. Though just a junior, Manning has made several big plays but still needs fine-tuning. Over the last two years Manning has made 151 tackles (25 for loss), 10 sacks, 5picks, 8 passes defended and 6 forced fumbles.

CB Keith Tandy - West Virginia [5-10, 202, 4.48]
Even though we just have the Bills taking Donnie Fletcher, they could easily double up at corner at least to get some more competition for Leodis to compete with. Tandy has good speed and can make big plays. In the last two years, Tandy has recorded 121 tackles, 20 passes defended and 10 interceptions.

FS Trenton Robinson - Michigan State [5-10, 195, 4.46]
Between the fact that Brian Scott will likely be splitting time at OLB and that Byrd is a free agent after this season, the Bills could look to add another safety to the roster for backup purposes. Robinson looks good on speed also running a 4.42 at his pro-day and has been solid in run support. Over the last two seasons Robinson has made 156 tackles, 10 passes defended and 8 picks.

Go Bills!!
