Here we are 5 days away from the start of the 2012 NFL draft. I've participated in the discussions the past few weeks, I've written articles, I've managed to change my own mind several times already but now I feel pretty confident to put out my mock draft for the Buffalo Bills.
I don't believe that we will be trading down, there is too much depth at CB and WR this year that teams won't be willing to give up mid round picks to get up to 10 (unless Richardson slips to us maybe). So based on the assumption that we won't move down here is my predictions for the 4 first rounds of the draft.
#10: Luke Keuchly, LB, Boston College
He's too much of a stud to pass up on. He's got the size and speed to play all three positions and his college production was off the charts, so to me this is a no brainer.
#41: Bobby Massie, OT, Mississippi
Whaley had some interesting comments at the luncheon last week regarding LT prospects and whether I agree with it or not, clearly they favour length, size and foot agility above all else. Bobby Massie fits those requirements and should be there for us in the 2nd round. If not, the next guy that I could see us drafting is Brock Osweiler, QB from Arizona State
#72: Brian Quick, WR Appalachian State
This guy draws comparisons to Vincent Jackson. Although I'm not convinced he'll last until the 3rd round. If there's a run on Receivers early, the might actually decide to get him in Round 2. If that were the case then I could see Zebrie Sanders in this spot.
#106: Jamell Fleming, CB Oklahoma
They brought this kid in for a look. He's a tough corner that can play man, which is something I believe they are looking for.
#125: Kirk Cousins, QB Michigan St.
Not sure he's be here at this spot but if he is and we haven't already drafted Osweiller, then I think we pull the trigger on Cousins.
So there you have it fellow Rumblers, Keysh's mock for the first 4 rounds
Luke Keuchly LB
Bobby Massie OT
Brian Quick WR
Jamell Flemming CB
Kirk Cousins QB
