I was curious about why Gilmore didnt look all that thrilled about where he was picked but the more i think about it, the more i realize it wasnt disappointment he Buffalo grabbed him, it was disappointment Carolina didnt. There were several rumors connecting Gilmore to the Panthers and for him, that would have been a dream scenario. Gilmore played in SC (not far from Charlotte) and grew up in Rock Hill, SC which is basically a suburb of Charlotte (I live an hour from Charlotte and have family in Rock Hill). For Gilmore, he would have been basically playing in his home town with family/friends as his supports, comfort level with the area and (probably) the team/players he rooted for growing up. Im sure when the Panthers passed on him, he was very disappointed and unfortunatly, didnt have a lot of time to deal with since the Bills picked right behind them. I dont think hes unhappy to be in Buffalo, he was just dealing with the disappointment of not playing in his home town. I think he will adjust quickly though..
Round 2 I see the Bills sticking with the best player on their board... I feel they will take a LT or LB (David/Brown) (i also think theres a good chance they wait and still get a good LT prospect in the 3rd/4th with all the tackels falling..ie..Zebria Sanders/massie/the kid from Troy/etc)
look for the Bills to take someone who they met in a predraft visit..
