There is a poster on the BB main message board that has historically had some pretty good inside information about the Bills. Obviously it could be a fake, but he was dead on with some of his information on the Mario Williams stuff and some other things that have come up in the past. He provided some pretty interesting comments on what happened inside the War Room this past weekend and I wanted to share with you.
First, he said that his contact told him to tell all his friends how much the Bills liked Kalil and Barron. And that they were willing to trade up for them. That could explain a lot of the smoke signals that were going off in the weeks before the draft. He said the guy they wanted all along was Gilmore. He said the pick came down to Gilmore and then Kuechly. If they were gone and couldn't trade down, then the pick would have been Glenn at 10.
He said they felt like they got the steal of the draft with Glenn in the second round. He indicated that there were at least three other teams that had a 2nd round grade on TJ Graham (and the Bills had him with a 2nd round grade too). He also indicated they were interested in Russell Wilson and that some at OBD were upset that we didn't land him.
Take it for what it is worth, but I thought it was some pretty interesting information
Just another great fan opinion shared on the pages of BuffaloRumblings.com.
