Morning Joe! Major Concern Heading in to the 2012 Season

Good morning Bills Fans,

Happy hump day! :-/

In the wake of one of our best off seasons in years; I can't help but to admit that I still have some major concerns. Today I will discuss my major concern and I want to get a feel for what are some of your concerns heading in to the 2012 season.

They way I would like for you to look at this question, is to think of something that can go wrong that can completely ruin the season or make this off season a complete failure. For an example, you can say "if Fitz goes down game 1 of the regular season, the season is a wash. Chan is gone, the offense he built is gone, and maybe Stevie effectiveness will be gone". Or you can say if Mario goes down, there goes our 100 million dollar pass rush down the drain.

For me it's not the injuries that concern me so much. What concern me is, what happens when there are no more excuses to be made? What happens if we start off 1-5 or 2-7? If we're relatively healthy in this team struggle out of the gate, what happens in the big picture? Does Chan get fired? Does Fitzy lose his job?

We have high expectations for this team and everything we've been building towards can quickly go down the drain if this team struggles. The fan base, the locker room, and the city won't be able to stomach such a letdown. Our expectations for this team is at the highest it has ever been in the past decade. Truly, there are no more excuses to be made.

When we signed Mario, I posted a Morning Joe that discussed whether or not this team was in a 'win now" mode and the large majority agreed that we were. If we can't win now due to our own limitations and not injuries, where do we go from here? The majority of you Rumblers feel like we have adequate depth at key positions. You feel like finally we have true competition at these positions so if an injury does occur; we have a good talent backing them up.

I'm just afraid that if we start of slow, this rebuild will be over and we will be looking for another Coach at season-end. There is NO WAY this coaching regime can withstand another 4-12 or 6-10 season after the off season this team had and the players Buddy and Whaley was able to assemble, especially if we were relatively healthy.

Just another great fan opinion shared on the pages of BuffaloRumblings.com.
