The 2012 NFL Draft is in the books, and we're not waiting around for Vince Young. Football is on the national back burner until July, sadly, but we're going to do our best to avoid the usual summer doldrums by talking about actual football. It's time for our annual Buffalo Bills film review series!
This started during last year's lockout as a way to avoid the depression of a life sans football and stuffed full of lawyer-speak. In essence, we thoroughly reviewed a select number of Bills games from the 2010 season, taking notes on specific players and plays, reviewing tendencies, and even occasionally hitting stills to flesh out things of interest. A few examples: watching Jared Allen school Demetress Bell (link); a review of the best half of football the Bills played in 2010; and personnel variations on the same (wildly successful) screen play.
We plan on reviewing all 16 games this summer, in the order they were played. We'll typically average one game per week, but we'll have to speed things up a bit to get them all in by the start of training camp. This series will begin next week, and our question for you: is there anything in particular you'd like us to keep an eye out for, keeping in mind that some things aren't easy to keep track of on typical television broadcasts?
