Something that makes us all sick...

IMO, the real mark of a solid team is how many close games they are in -- win or lose -- over the course of a season. If you are truly good, you only have an off day and lose 1-2 games per year by more than 10 pts. and you don't blow more than two 4th quarter leads. Too many times in the past few years ( 5 times in 2009, 6 times in 2010, 5 times in 2011), we have just gotten blown out of games and the feeling as a fan for me is that we didn't even compete that day or just got completely steamrolled in the 2nd half. I'm not saying we quit, but there have been too many 35-10 type losses for me in the past several years to stomach. With our D this year, I think we finally turn that feeling around and have a chance every Sunday. My own number is 2 this year as I can't see us losing by 10+ points more than twice this year and contrary to what players say, I would rather be in it and lose a close game than not even be in it.

Just another great fan opinion shared on the pages of BuffaloRumblings.com.
