Good morning Bills Fans,
There's been much discussion about this particular Buffalo Bills team heading in to the 2012 season. We all are well aware of the pieces that CHIX has brought in, and there is still a possibility that we will be adding some more players. At the end of March I posted a thread titled Morning Joe! Win Now or Rebuild Mode; in which 47% (the majority in this case), felt that we are indeed in a "win now" mode.
There are some fans out there that believe we are poised to finally make a serious playoff run, and dare I say it "a possible run at the Super Bowl? Is this unrealistic, or is this a true possibility ?
On paper, one can argue that we have all the ingredients necessary to make a major push; balance on offense; a defense line that has the ability to get after the QB and stop the run; depth at certain positions to protect against injuries; good special teams play; young talent, and a veteran coaching staff that has literally made nothing in to something over the past couple of seasons.
However, on the flip side, there are a lot of folks that believe that we are missing pieces and we're not quite ready to legitimately compete for Super Bowls. They can point to several factors; QB play, a second WR; depth; coaching, etc.
I want to hear from you guys. As it stands now, can we be considered a legit Super Bowl contender? If not, what are we missing?
