2012 Bills Front Line: More Than Pass Rush; Disruption

As I contemplate this upcoming season and what the defense could accomplish led by a front line consisting of Mario Williams, Marcel Dareus, Kyle Williams, Mark Anderson, and also factoring in Shawne Merriman, of course I think first of the pass rush but right along with that I also think of the penetration capable that line represents even on run plays and a one word implication to the opponent's offense: disruption.

That one word sums up the capability this new defensive line should bring to the game. Whereas in the past the defensive front was capable, at most, of absorbing pressure from the opposing offense and, at best, responding correctly and limiting the damage, I expect this new defensive front line to be capable of penetrating the offense and disrupting everything they try to do, causing maximum damage to the opponent and taking the game over. We're talking dominance, folks.

So I am holding that one word in my mind as we enter the 2012 season: disruption. And, as a result (if they achieve the disruption I'm hoping to see) another single word also starting with a 'd': dominance.

Just another great fan opinion shared on the pages of BuffaloRumblings.com.
