with the fantasy football season just around the corner i thought it would be interesting to chat about fantasy
strategies sleepers how you draft and what type of team do you field
what is your draft strategy? personally i draft my running backs in rounds 1 to 6 last year i fielded
4 | Ray Rice, Bal RB |
17 | Darren McFadden, Oak RB |
24 | Matt Forte, Chi RB |
37 | Jahvid Best, Det RB |
44 | Ryan Mathews, SD RB |
57 | Jonathan Stewart, Car RB |
my first 6 picks
usually picks 7-9 are best on board and i fielded
64 | Steve Johnson, Buf WR |
77 | Ryan Grant, GB RB |
84 | Matt Ryan, Atl QB |
the last 7 picks i fill up the bench and take chances on my "sleeper"s
97 | Joe Flacco, Bal QB |
104 | Zach Miller, Sea TE |
117 | Sam Bradford, StL QB |
124 | Alex Henery, Phi K |
137 | Mike Williams, Sea WR |
144 | Nate Burleson, Det WR |
157 | Bills D/ST D/ST |
i had two sleepers last year in Sam Bradford and Mike Williams i always pick my defense last usually because the bills def never gets drafted i also rotate kickers on a weekly basis and look for matchups against tough redzone teams under the assumption that they wont get TD's and only FGs
i think i am gonna alter rounds 7-9 a little bit and focus on TEs earlier Rob Gronkowski is a beast and i think he will be Brady's favorite target and Jimmy Graham seem poised to top the charts a sleeper tight end on my radar Colby Fleener he was Luck's Favorite target in college
QB's a underrated QB should be available in the late rounds Matt Ryan puts up solid not great numbers many people tend to look over him
i field the 3 RB 2 WR i prefer it because of guaranteed touches over possible touches
list of my sleepers
RB
Chris Johnson
Ryan Matthews
QB
Brandon Weedon
Matt Ryan
WR
TE
Colby Fleener
Good Luck to everybody in the upcoming fantasy season
