My family is a hard working family (all with multiple jobs to make ends meet). With that being said, we do not have the NFL Network as part of our cable package. So, when I house sit for neighbors, my first duty is to check what channels they have (this decides if I stay the night and live there....or just make scheduled visits), and then to take care of the pets/mail/random stuff. I found that one of the houses I am currently watching has the NFL network...Hello New home until July 9th.With all of that being said, there was a show on called "Hey Rookie: Welcome to the NFL." This specific episode highlighted (according to the info from the guide) M. Williams. My excitement jumped a bit. We now currently have M. Williams on our roster and I was curious to see his work ethic and understanding as a rookie and compare it to what the players/coaches are saying from OTAs and Minicamp...then the unthinkable happened.
The "M. Williams" highlighted in this episode was Mike Williams (if you need to, take a moment and get sick. Clean your mouth out and hit yourself in the head for the bad memories....scratch that......ONLY memories of him).
He was so full of himself. He talked about GQ needing to call him (jokingly...but still). Drew Bledsoe mentioning he needs to protect him better in games than practices (also jokingly....but the joke, in the long run, was on Bledsoe and the fans). One of the worst draft picks in team history (as we all know).
This post has nothing productive to offer. I just needed the time to vent and also the time to be thankful for the NEW...BETTER M. Williams that we have on our team this year.
PS. Can you imagine Mario lining up against Mike? Im just glad we have Mario on our side this year.
