1. Our Rockin' Safeties - Jairus Byrd and George Wilson were amazing last night. Byrd had a couple huge hits. One, early in the game, came right after a big missed tackle by Aaron Williams. The second one was a huge hit after a dump-off pass. George Wilson had his share of big plays, too, including the fumble recovery as well as a few tackles. I am excited about how these guys are going to play.
2. Scott Chandler's Hands - The dude had two two big catches including one over the middle in between a couple defenders. I have no idea how he held onto it. It was in his hands held up over his head for what felt like an eternity while the defenders each took their bet shots. But Chandler still came down with it. In the post-game, Fitz said we'll see as the pre-season continues why he is going to have a much bigger role this year. I am already sold.
3. Vince Young's Feet - Young did almost nothing with his arm, but was deadly when the pocket began to fail. He ran all over the field, including one huge gain on a 3rd and long for a first down. To my eye, he seemed to get more relaxed with his throwing as the game progressed as well, throwing a few good passes after the big run.
