Demetress Bell and Eagles LT Situation

I remember Poz commenting on a regular basis last year about Demetress Bell's inability to man the LT position for the Bills long term.

Well, it looks like Poz isn't the only one to hold that opinion. According to reports, Demetress Bell has been demoted to 2nd team LT for the Eagles. This comes as a big surprise as he was given a HUGE contract in the offseason to replace Jason Peters. Apparently, veteren King Dunlap has shown a little more in training camp, and will be running with the 1st team offense in their next pre-season game.

This is pretty interesting news, especially as we look at our own Buffalo Bills. Buddy Nix has done a fantastic job of managing the team, especially not over-paying for under-productive players in free agency. We are now paying less for 3 offensive tackles (Pears, Glenn and Hairston) than the Eagles are paying for ONE player - their 2nd string OT. Way to go Buddy Nix.

Just another great fan opinion shared on the pages of BuffaloRumblings.com.
