For the newbies here, sometime last year there was a discussion about giving Kyle Williams a nickname. We eventually settled on "meatball." Unfortunately, that nickname just has not taken with me. When I think of meatball, I think of something soft, round, delicate, to be eaten, drenched in sauce, or gotten at IKEA. This is not Kyle Williams. Furthermore, the "meat" part of that calls to mind "meathead" or "minced meat," implying that he is not smart or that he is easily dominated.
You get the point. "Meat" just doesn't work.
I understand the drive to go the direction of meat, but how about a new approach? Something like "90% lean organic beef." The use of the word "organic" implies intelligence and football sophistication. "Lean" speaks of efficiency and power and of course, "beef" represent "Buffalo . . . meat" but also "beef" is substance, power, strength, brute force (remember that this is balanced out with the "organic" label).
Before you criticize this proposal, please take a moment to give it some serious thought.
