Poll on how to interpret preseason

So, watching the results of preseason and the comments, I've narrowed down our team to the following points of view - read through and vote for what you believe in the poll comments below [the poll function doesn't seem to be working?] - or write your own in the comments!

(1) Can't evaluate the team. Chan uses preseason entirely for evaluating players and plays, regardless of who the opposing team is or what they show defensively. There is no gameplanning to speak of, and his playcalling is all geared around evaluating players, whether they are developing as planned, and whether they can execute the plays they are being called upon to execute.

(2) Preseason demonstrates Chan is a journeyman coach. Our early success last year was because defenses hadn't seen our offense before. That success evaporated not as much because of injuries, but because defenses had more tape to figure out our offense, and Chan couldn't adapt. And that pattern continues this preseason.

(3) Preseason demonstrates Fitz is a journeyman quarterback - despite what has been said by Chan, David Lee and Fitz, his performance in preseason demonstrates that you can't teach an old dog new tricks. Fitz will be inconsistent, and inaccurate too often to be relied upon to lead this team to the Super Bowl.

As for me, I am in #1, but admit #2 and #3 are still distinct possibilities. And like many others, I'm eager for preseason to end and for us to truly judge where the team is.

(4) Both #2 and #3
