Hey guys,
With our GM Buddy Nix pointing out the safety position as one that makes him worried when it comes to depth, I thought it'd be nice to keep a running thread of any safety's that pop up on the market and if they would fit with the Bills as depth. I've seen the names like Jim Leonard, Charlie Peprah being tossed around and a new one just surfaced....
I recently saw that Brodney Pool got cut by the Dallas Cowboys. The 6 foot 2 211 pound 8 year veteran was cut due to failing a conditioning test. He eventually did PASS the conditioning test and lost ground to a new up and coming player in Barry Church.
Pool spent 5 years with Cleveland and 2 years with the Jets. I'm not saying he is the end all be all answer at depth, but he is certainly a name that could be in the mix.
- Who would you add to our short list of safeties we should look at?
- Should we go young/potential or savvy veteran on the downside of their career?
- Do you think we need a 4th safety? ..meaning if it came down to having 2 kickers (Lindell and impressing Nate Potter) or a 4th safety which would you choose?
Can't wait to see what my fellow Bills fans have to say as they slip on their GM hats and take a crack at our 4th Safety void.
