Let's take a look at a couple "elite" NFL QB stats averaged over the past two years (TDs and INTs adjusted for a 16 game season):
Bold is highest, Italics is worst
| QB | Yards/Game | TDs | INTs | Comp% |
| Ryan Fitzpatrick | 235.6 | 26 | 21 | 60.2% |
| Jay Cutler | 223.7 | 23 | 15 | 59.4% |
| Ben Roethlisberger | 269.5 | 23 | 11 | 62.5% |
| Eli Manning | 279.2 | 30 | 20 | 61.9% |
He is neither the highest nor lowest in any of these categories besides interceptions barely over Eli and skewed by his very bad season with that last year (and to start this year). He had 15 in 13 games in 2010.
In sum, FitzPatrick is a playoff caliber QB.
Just another great fan opinion shared on the pages of BuffaloRumblings.com.
