Some thoughts going in to week 2

We did not play with nearly enough physicality in game 1. We wussed the game away. I read elsewhere that the Jets receivers gave a head punch just like Howard when our DB's jammed the line. And we did nada back. As long as the team as a whole does not play with the same physical intensity as our opponent, we will always be pretenders to the throne.

I saw Fitzy throwing many balls off his rear foot. That is a bear of a habit to change it seems. Note the Revis pick was a throw from the right hash to the LEFT sideline. I also read elsewhere that Fitz pats the ball just before he releases. I will be watching for that this weekend. If he does, there's the perfect tip off to jump the route. If his eyes are locked on, that's where the ball will go.

From Matthew Elder an observation that Gilmore kept his eyes on the QB for way too long and that's his main problem now. Hill beat him as he had his eyes stuck on Sanchez until it was too late. That seems correctible to me. I like his physical style of play.

Finally, my man Cordy Glenn aquitted himself pretty well in his first start. What a great gift to us. With NFL weight training he will be better than good! Wow. A good gulp for Mr Glenn.

Just another great fan opinion shared on the pages of BuffaloRumblings.com.
