The Bills are again plagued by poor decisions. The biggest one was signing Fitz to a long term contract based on a hot streak he hasn’t repeated. We signed a career backup who was traded from his 1st team for a 7th round pick and then let go by the Cincinnati Bengals. We have no backup quarterback plan because the backups have ALSO been let go TWICE by teams who desperately needed a quarterback. We should have drafted a quarterback so there would be some hope for this beleaguered franchise. Stevie Johnson our #1 receiver is again hampered by a groin injury which troubled him last year. We have a hobbled #1 receiver signed to a long term contract and no #2 to speak of. We were destroyed by the Jets and made Mark Sanchez look like an all-pro. And comparing him to Alex Smith of the 49ers is a joke. Fitz threw 38 pics in the last 2 years and Smith threw 15 plus Smith almost went to the Super Bowl except for a few muffed returns that were not his fault. Instead of having a young up and coming QB that could take us somewhere we have retreads. We wasted 10 million on Merriman. Our coordinators which were no good in Buffalo won the Super Bowl last year. Leodis McKelvin wasn't a good choice and on and on.
Just another great fan opinion shared on the pages of BuffaloRumblings.com.
