We haven't drafted a QB and are running out of time

Stay connected for news and updates

It's obvious to most (except Buffalo) that great or even excellent QB's come in the 1st round or early 2nd round except for a few exceptions (Tom Brady). In 2008 we could have drafted Joe Flacco instead of perennial All Pro Leodis McKelvin. In 2009 we could have drafted Josh Freeman. In 2011 we could have drafted Colin Kaepernick or Andy Dalton but nooooooo we have our career retreads. Does Nix think he is smarter than everyone else with these undrafted free agent "gems". Its ok to pick up some players like these to augment your core but to depend solely or heavily on these types of players is a mistake. The us against the world or no name gang gets a bit old when you suffer with year after year of mediocrity. Time is ticking and our beloved owner will be 94 soon and we are running out of time. The is no guarantee we will keep our team or have to share them even more with Toronto and not only preseason games but really good games. I for one am tired for being a joke here and now we are depending on a state handout to refurbish our stadium to secure a new Bills lease which has been put on hold now in favor of a 1 year extension. The Bills are our one jewel that makes Buffalo relevant on the national stage and one of only 32 NFL franchises. I have been a fan for as long as I can remember and I am losing hope.

Just another great fan opinion shared on the pages of BuffaloRumblings.com.
