Today the Raiders waived the speedy 3rd rounder (2011 draft) in favor of veteran Joselio Hanson. With the Bills slim on cornerback spots, would it be worth it for them to pick up a corner that still needs time to develop? Personally, I would love to see the Bills take a chance on this guy.
While I realize that a guy like VanDyke wouldn't be competing for a starting job, I don't think it could hurt to have him on the roster as a fourth or fifth stringer. I imagine that he'd be able to start as a special teams contributor given his size and speed combination, and maybe even develop into something better on defense.
