Bills Take 21-7 Lead On Long Donald Jones Touchdown Catch

Stay connected for news and updates

Fred Jackson caught a screen pass with one hand and gained 16 yards on third and 15 deep in his own territory. On the next play Ryan Fitzpatrick found receiver Donald Jones up the left seam. After catching it near midfield, Jones got the Patriots safety turned around and took it to the house, giving Buffalo a 21-7 lead on a 68 yard catch and run touchdown. The play is the longest of Jones' career

Stephon Gilmore took points off the board on the Patriots previous series when he met tight end Rob Gronkowski hard near the goal line, jarring a sure reception loose. The Patriots were then forced to punt.

The pass is Fitzpatrick's third touchdown of the game and gives him 262 yards on just 15 completions. He has been taking advantage of the middle of the field against the Patriots secondary with two touchdowns in the seam. There is still more than 11 minutes left in the third quarter and the Bills have a two touchdown lead.
