We take players that have been successful elsewhere and they come here and flop and we blame the players and NOT the coaches. Coaches should get the best out of a player and not the worst. Mario Williams is looking like Albert Haynesworth. We spend 100 million dollars and he looks ordinary at best. Is it bad coaching? Bad GM decisions? How can a player that looked so good come here and be a total bust? Maybe giving someone 100 million with 50 million guaranteed takes away incentive. Maybe he came here and didn't leave until he signed was because no one else would pay him so much. Our GM thinks he is so much smarter than anyone else. Shawne Merriman was a flop. Not drafting a QB and signing an average backup to a 59 million with 24 million guaranteed contract when no one else would pay him 1/10 of that We look like free spending fools. We couldn't wait to get rid of Marshawn Lynch and Willis McGahee and they look pretty good with their new teams. We didn't need CJ Spiller and could have drafted a QB and kept Lynch. There is no excitement here no imagination. Castoff coaches that no one wants. I would rather lose and at least try something new. Tom Brady had all day to throw and Mark Sanchez looked like an all pro against us and a flop against everyone else. With this second rate coaching staff this is another lost season. We should have kept Perry Fewell or given Bobby April a chance. We are stuck with career mediocre coaches.
