Magical words...

Given the potential of the team this year, all the off season moves, adjustments, and preparation, there's only a single thing that remains. It's a long time away, in fact it will be April next year when the words are spoken...

"With the 32nd pick in the 2013 NFL draft, the Buffalo Bills select..."

That will be a truly glorious moment to behold. It means that the team's finally done it and these many years of remaining loyal and watching and waiting have finally paid off. The words "wide right" will no longer be the hallmark of this organization. Without going into any in-depth analysis (as it's not my strong suit), the defense looks to have elite potential if they cause the havoc and mismatches they can exploit and get into the backfield without letting anything get away from them. The offense played very well, and though it was streaky last year, retains the potential to win games this season. I've been a fan for the past 25 years, and not since the glory days of Kelly, Biscuit, Bruce and Thermal, have I had these kinds of hopes for the team's success. Win or lose, they'll remain my team, but it's my firm belief that the drought ends in 2012. Sunday begins the Bills' regular season and I'll be sporting the Zubaz pants of old while I watch our team circle the wagons and ground the Jersey Jets. This season, things are going to change.

Just another great fan opinion shared on the pages of BuffaloRumblings.com.
