After missing practice on Thursday with a tight groin, Buffalo Bills wide receiver Stevie Johnson is back on the practice field today. If you were worried about Johnson's availability for Sunday's season opener against the New York Jets, this should alleviate some of those concerns.
When asked by reporters on Thursday whether or not Johnson believed this issue would linger all year as it did in 2011, Johnson downplayed that notion, saying that the off-season surgery he had has helped the situation, and that he expects the issue to resolve itself in due time.
So rest easy, Bills fans: when Buffalo takes the field at MetLife Stadium in 50 hours (!), Johnson will almost certainly be on the field, where he'll match up against Darrelle Revis for an afternoon in one of the better one-on-one battles that we're likely to see this weekend. The Bills will release a full injury report a bit later on today.
