This is just about right

This is pretty much exactly the team that I was expecting. Our Cornerbacks are young, and going to get beat, I still think as the season progresses, they will show promise. Our Defensive Line didn't exactly come out swinging, but again, I'm not worried about them at all. They will be a really good line very quickly. Now offensively, if there are any Fitzpatrick supporters left, I really hope you don't fall for the Fitz-magic much longer. He does not have the ability to play at a high level regularly, and has the extremely high probability to lose games with poor decisions. As high as the score was for the Jets, we cannot make an excuse for Fitzpatrick having to throw because he was behind since the defense gave up all those points. I really hope I don't ever hear that bogus excuse again. It was a terrible excuse last year, and it is an equally terrible excuse this year.

Fitzpatrick didn't show up to play, and didn't even make his usual "1 Good Quarter" appearance. I'm tired of 3 and outs, interceptions, and Pick-6s by him. His slow starts, and no starts, are just as much a reason as to why we lost last year, and will be the reason we lose this year as well.

I'm not sure how many more times I can even post about Fitz's ineptitude and drafting a QB in the first round of 2013. We had better be figuring out ways to stockpile some pics, to trade up and get the QB we want. And please just take Gailey's keys to the building away, I'm also sick of his "great working relationships", because they don't amount to anything.

I know it is only the first game of the season, but believe me, this is very much a forshadowing to the rest of the season. I actually think the defense will turn around, Fitzpatrick will not on the other hand.

Somehow we will win some games to screw us out of a good draft pick though, so that is why we had better be ready to trade. And if in the draft room anyone brings up "we should wait to see who drops to us", they should be fired.

Lets take control of the team's destiny for once, and take a chance at being great. Yes, high-risk/high-reward with a QB at a high pick, but we need to grow a pair and take that risk.

Just another great fan opinion shared on the pages of BuffaloRumblings.com.
