Got a bit derailed last week with the big stink-fest that was Wilcard Weekend. Let's recap:
CIN+4.5*: (L) They just couldn't get anything going offensively. How AJ Green isn;t targeted every play is a mystery to me.
MIN@GB OVER 46***: (L) In fairness, I obviously backed off of this when I read Ponder was out...but I posted and have to pay the price.
IND+7**: (L) Figures Balty's defense would come alive in the playoffs
IND@BAL OVER 47***: (L) see above
WAS+3*****: (L) If Cousins goes into this game, we are looking at a totally different outcome...I think.
0-5-0...ugh. Season record now: 53-47-2..not good.
This week's lines:
BAL@DEN-10 O/U 46.5
GB@SF-3 O/U 45
SEA@ATL-2.5 O/U 46
HOU@NE-9.5 O/U 48.5
My Picks:
DEN-10**: Ray Lewis' career ends Saturday as Peyton takes apart the Ravens piece by piece. This game simply feels like taking candy from a baby.
GB@SF OVER 45***: Both defenses are good, but with the way these teams finished the year, both offenses are better.
ATL-2.5*: I may regret this one because Seattle is taking Buffalo's role in the post-season...the role of always costing me money. However, beating up on a team with a major QB injury isn't the same as traveling to the Georgia Dome to take on Matty Ice and the gang.
NE-9.5***: This line is moving slightly in favor of Houston...don't bite! That was too much time to give the hoodie and the ugg (get it...cause Brady reps chick boots?). It took all Houston had to beat Cinci despite the fact that Andy Dalton was doing his best late-season Ryan Fitzpatrick impression.
So there you go...what do y'all like?
