The Buffalo Bills have reportedly hired a new defensive line coach - and he's even younger than offensive coordinator Nathaniel Hackett.

When the Buffalo Bills hired defensive coordinator Mike Pettine, we wondered last week how many players from his former team - the New York Jets - he might bring with him. We won't know the answer to that for quite a while, but Pettine's already bringing other Jets with him.

Per Manish Mehta of the New York Daily News, the Bills will hire Jets assistant defensive line coach Anthony Weaver to coach the defensive line in Buffalo. That follows an earlier report from Mehta that Jets assistant defensive backs coach Jim O'Neil would join Pettine in Buffalo, as well, though did not specify a role.

Weaver, 32, may be a familiar name to some; he was a defensive lineman for the Baltimore Ravens (where Pettine and Rex Ryan served as coaches) from 2002-2005, then with the Houston Texans between 2006-2008, finishing his career with 15.5 sacks and three interceptions. Since his playing days, Weaver has coached one year in three different spots: he was a graduate assistant at the University of Florida in 2010, then the linebackers coach at North Texas in 2011 before joining Ryan's staff last season.

Bills head coach Doug Marrone has only made two official coaching staff hires: Pettine as his defensive coordinator, and Nathaniel Hackett as his offensive coordinator. If this Weaver reports ends up panning out, the Bills will employ an assistant coach that's actually younger than the 33-year-old Hackett.
