Hey gang!

It has been an insanely busy three days, what with the Bills firing Chan Gailey, then making a huge front office announcement, and the various daily coaching rumors floating out there, as well. Typically, these days - which see much, much higher traffic volumes (and thus more commenters than usual) - are a nightmare for us. I'd like to thank the community at large for staying sane through these last three days and making life much easier for your very, very busy editors.

I just have two quick things to mention about the blog this week before turning things over to you guys and gals in the comments section:

• We've officially transitioned over to our new set of Community Guidelines with the turn of the new year, and the site has been updated to reflect that. It's the same set of rules that have been mentioned in two previous METATHREAD postings, so if you've read them, you've got the gist. If not, now would be a good time for a refresher. :)
• If you're on the site between 7-8PM tonight, one quick heads up - there's a chance that you could experience some slower than usual page load times and performance issues. That's because SB Nation will be making some design tweaks at that point in time; the sites should not go down, and the maintenance window will be small. If you happen to experience any issues in that time frame, please be patient - and if the issues extend significantly past that time frame, send an email to support@sbnation.com.
