In a move that is not yet announced officially, reports nonetheless indicate that Syracuse Orange head coach Doug Marrone will be the next head coach of the Buffalo Bills. Marrone, 48, replaces Chan Gailey, who was fired last Monday.

Obviously, it's time for an approval poll on the hire.

Marrone was 25-25 in four seasons at Syracuse after inheriting a program that went 10-37 under its previous head coach. The Orange won two bowl games in four seasons, captured a Big East title in 2012, and have developed several quality pro prospects on Marrone's watch, including 2012 first-round pick Chandler Jones and quarterback Ryan Nassib, a potential first-round pick this coming April.

He does not, however, have any NFL head coaching experience; he was the New York Jets' offensive line coach for four years under Herm Edwards before spending three seasons as the offensive coordinator for the New Orleans Saints (where he did not call plays). His Syracuse coaching stint followed those seven pro seasons.

That's the basic background; now it's time to put this to a snap-judgment vote. Do you approve of the Marrone hiring, do you disapprove, or are you taking the wait and see approach?
