According to footballscoop.com, the Bills have requested permission to speak with the Jets' current DC, Mike Pettine. Pettine was also with Ryan in Baltimore, where Mike was the OLBs coach. It's hard to imagine Pettine would coach a 4-3, so if this report is true, it would appear that the Bills are seriously considering the switch(back) to the 3-4.
