Yea I said it! I might need to up my medications but if Mr. Thad Lewis plays like he did this past Sunday... why not? Let's look at the schedule: 10/20 At the Dolphins. Not a gimme by any means but are the Dolphins really that much better than we are? I have the feeling Mario Williams next multi-sack (and possibly historic) game will be this one. 10/27 At the Saints. Loss... let's move on. 11/3 Home with the Chefs. (Yes, that was on purpose.) The biggest draw here will be in we can beat the 137 decibels record set by their fans. Gimme a case of Labatts and I'm on it. The fans win. Bills lose, but our fans get the record. 11/10 at the Steelers. Tough game, but I like our chances. 11/17 Home with the Jets. Again tough game but I like our chances against Mr. Smith this time. Pettine will be armed and ready. 12/1 Home with the Falcons. Tough game, but it isn't like the Falcons are flying high lately. 12/8 At the Bucs. Has the makings of a "It's a trap!" game, but again...I vote Bills. 12/15 at the Jags. Even I could be the honary Def Cord for this game. Put Gilmore on Blackmon and commit against the run. Henne ain't beating us. Done deal! 12/22 Home with the Dolphins not eliminated yet from the playoffs this gives us something to play for. Bills get it done. 12/17 Will the Pats have anything to play for by now? Likely sewing up the number 2 seed early playing against their second stringers in the 2nd half means this becomes a game we have a good shot at. So with upcoming losses against the Saints, Chefs, and possibly one more either the Falcons or split with the Phins. That puts us around 9-7 and possibly in the playoffs. And given the state of the AFC North... I like our chances.
