Well another sub-par week. Not so good. We'll get it back. Let's recap:
CHI-7***: (L) Chicago was just a few Alshon Jefferey drops away from blowing this game out. Darnit!
OAK+8.5**: (L) So much for inter-division close ones.
BAL+3****: (W) Not the outcome I expected, but a cover none-the-less.
HOU-7****: (L) Houston deserved this loss. I think it is accurate to say that they have lost almost all resemblance to the playoff team they were just a year ago.
BUF+6.5*: (W) Can't believe they hung in there like they did. The loss was disappointing; and I rarely find moral victories, but it least it made us some $.
NO+3**: (P) No harm no foul! Glad New Orleans is on the bye so that they can come back and get back to dominant football.
DAL-5.5***: (W) Dallas looks sharp. Look for the play this week on them as well.
IND-1.5**: (L) Ugh. Coby Fleener drops lead to a lousy snoozer on MNF.
3-4-1 on the week. 15-18-1 on the season. C'mon now, RJ...time to right this ship!
Week 7 Lines:
CHI@WAS pk O/U49.5
My Week 7 Picks:
SEA-4.5*** Look for Seattle to get back on track here against an Arizona team that has been over-performing and won't keep it up.
NE@NYJ UNDER 43** I know New England may have Gronk back (or they may not)...but they have nobody else. This is gonna be a field goal fest.
KC-6*** Tough place for TJ Yates to get his fist 2013 start...Arrowhead.
BUF@MIA OVER 43*** Buffalo has not been good on the road. However, limited tape on Thad Lewis will keep Miami on their toes. On the flip-side, Buffalo will give up a ton on the ground and have a tough time keeping Miami's receivers at bay down in Florida.
CHI** You had me at pick'em. Don't care how RGIII and Alfred Morris are coming along. Chicago has had a lot of rest.
DEN-6.5****I'll take the first-ballot Hall of Famer over the young gun replacement on the less talented team. Even while winning, Denver has to look at last week as embarrassing. I like 'em to roll this week to a double-digit win.
That's my card - What do y'all like?
