The Buffalo Bills have only ruled out one player for this Sunday's game against the Miami Dolphins: starting quarterback EJ Manuel. Seven other players make this week's injury report as probable, including backup quarterback Thad Lewis, who has three straight days of full practice participation under his belt.
Every Bills player listed as probable is expected to play. The three situations to monitor most closely heading into the game: how much C.J. Spiller will be able to handle in terms of workload; the status of Kyle Williams, who missed Friday's practice due to illness; and whether or not the Bills push Ron Brooks back into action given how well his replacement, Nickell Robey, has performed.
On Miami's side of the equation, Dannell Ellerbe, their high-priced defensive free agent signing of the off-season and the team's leading tackler, is doubtful with a shoulder injury. Brandon Gibson, meanwhile, was a late add to the report with a hip injury that flared up in practice this week. He has been one of Miami's most-targeted receivers this season.
