What do you like this weekend? Week 9

Inching back towards the positive. It's been a rough season thus far. However, the NFL betting season is a marathon - not a sprint and my picks will all be coming in now...just watch and see! Let's recap last week.

CAR-7***: (W) Got a little scared on this one as TB started scoring at the end of the game...started sweating a garbage cover. Tampa Bay did implode completely and give me the easy Black Cats cover in the end.

DAL+3**: (W) I said last week "I like Dallas in this spot. Back-to-back road games aren't ideal, but Dallas can hang points. I think this comes down to a final possession and I like the Boys' chances to keep it within a field goal." I was almost right here. Regardless - a cover is a cover.

KC-8**: (L) Cleveland was allowed to stay in this one. Really outrageous that KC couldn't score more at home. I know the Brownies defense is stout...but c'mon. That's two weeks in a row that KC has cost me $. Guess where it is this week!

BUF+10.5***: (L) Looked good. Garbage penalties and missed field goals. If those turnovers don't happen - this is a cover.

OAK+2****: (W) Home dog covers. This is a situation you need to watch. Oakland is a very underated team. Look for the general betting public to give you some wins as they bet against a team that plays good defense and lets Pryor do just enough to get them some wins.

21-24-1...getting closer! Gonna get the sweep this week and get back on the right side of this season!

My week 9 picks:

Let's get right to it with a pick I haven't liked this much in weeks - BUF+3*********: This is not a homer bet, folks. Kansas City is a good team, obviously. However, who have they beat? The blew JAX out of the water...okay?, they hung on at home to beat both Dallas and Houston by a point. Houston has been bad and Dallas is streaky! They blew out the G-Men at home and had wins against Philly and Cleveland in games that were closer than the score indicates. I LOVE the Bills to come home this week and get the win. Ales Smith will be running for his life as a ferocious defense feasts on turnovers and Thad does just enough to get the win. No doubt in my mind, Bills fans. This will be the biggest bet of the year for me this far. Again...not a homer bet.

MIA+3** Okay - Cincy is primed for the let down here. Miami is coming home after an embarrassing game that they had won until they were outscored 24-0 in the 2nd half. They wont make that mistake at home.

TEN-3*** Going with a system play I read somewhere here where you always bet against the team who either beat or played tough vs. Seattle the week before (or something like that)

SEA-15**** It looks like I am just beating up on Tampa Bay. Instead I am looking at another system play that calls for betting both Seattle and Green Bay at home regardless of the spread. It covers...a lot!

OAK-2.5** I don't love this as Oakland is coming off the win. But the Philly QB situation is just so confusing that Oakland should be able to defend their house.

GB-10.5*** Packers at home against a back-up qb. I don't care if it is a divisional game. Rogers is nasty on Monday night too.

That's my card, kids. What do y'all like?
