Bills teammates of the week, Week 11: T.J. Graham, Marquise Goodwin

Timothy T. Ludwig-USA TODAY Sports

The Buffalo Bills were missing their top two wide receivers on Sunday, but T.J. Graham and Marquise Goodwin stepped up in a big way during the Bills' 37-14 thrashing of the New York Jets.

Going into yesterday's game against the New York Jets, we had more than a good idea that the Buffalo Bills would struggle to run the football - and they did, gaining a season-low 68 yards on 38 carries. That meant that the offense would ride on the right arm of rookie quarterback EJ Manuel and reserve receivers T.J. Graham and Marquise Goodwin, who started in place of injured first-teamers Stevie Johnson and Robert Woods.

Graham and Goodwin did not disappoint replacing the Bills' two top wideouts. They combined for 155 receiving yards and two on eight catches (six of which belonged to Goodwin), and added 14 rushing yards to boot. In all, Goodwin and Graham combined to account for 54 percent of Buffalo's offensive output on the day, with 169 of the team's 313 yards from scrimmage.

The Bills have a bye week next weekend and won't play again until the month of December (on December 1, to be exact), and the hope is that both Johnson and Woods will be healthy enough to return for the final five games of the season. If either of the Bills' starters misses any more time, however, the Bills have to feel good about having guys like Goodwin and Graham waiting in the wings.
