Big WR? Big TE? What's the difference?

Matt Warren wrote an article outlining the WR options for the upcoming draft that might fit the Bills needs. But in all honesty, we don't need it. We've got 2 speed receivers (although one of them is flourishing right now, while the other is struggling to find his role on the team), and 2 possession receivers, one of whom is one of the best route runners in the NFL.

Instead of creating a logjam at that position by bringing in another body, our passing game could be wholly augmented by adding an athletic TE who can abuse teams in the seams and intermediate passing areas. Hackett used TE's a lot in SU, but hasn't since he arrived...do you think that's because of the lack of proper play calling, or the lack of talent? We run the ball. Chandler isn't the best in-line blocker. That's a problem.

I give you Arthur Lynch. This guy has soft hands, but can run block exceptionally well, especially when he run's off a combo block and get's to the second level. Todd Gurley isn't doing it alone. He could be a modern day version of Heath Miller...and the Bills haven't had that type of talent at that position in years. His 40 time won't blow anyone away, which is why he'll be available in the 2nd or 3rd...but landing a guy with his skill set would play into the strengths of our offense and fill a position of need.

Here's an idea of what he can bring to our team. Someone tell me it wouldn't be worth a 2nd round pick to get this guy in the fold.

Just another great fan opinion shared on the pages of BuffaloRumblings.com.
