For a third consecutive week, the Buffalo Bills list seven healthy scratches on their weekly inactive list.
That means that the two players listed on this week's injury report - right guard Kraig Urbik (foot) and middle linebacker Kiko Alonso (knee) - are both active and will play against the Jacksonville Jaguars. Alonso will assume his every-down linebacker role, while Urbik is expected to rotate at right guard with project player J.J. 'Unga.
Buffalo's inactives are: quarterback Jeff Tuel, running back Ronnie Wingo, tight end Tony Moeaki, guards Mark Asper and Antoine McClain, cornerback Brandon Smith, and safety Johnathan Meeks. With Wingo down, the Bills will suit up just two running backs today, plus two fullbacks - Frank Summers and Evan Rodriguez are both active.
For the Jaguars, things are a bit dicier: running back Maurice Jones-Drew, wide receiver Cecil Shorts III and rookie safety Jonathan Cyprien have all been ruled out of today's game with their respective ailments. In Jones-Drew (958 total yards, five touchdowns) and Shorts (777 yards, three scores), the Jaguars will be without their leading rusher and receiver in today's game. That's on top of not having second-leading wideout Justin Blackmon, as well; he's been suspended for the remainder of the year.
The Bills and the Jaguars kick off at 1PM ET on CBS.
