It's still not clear who will be under center for the Buffalo Bills when they take on the New England Patriots in their regular season finale on Sunday.
EJ Manuel, who missed last week's game against Miami with a sprained knee that left him limited in practices on Tuesday and Thursday, "looked improved" according to head coach Doug Marrone, but no decision on whether or not he'll start on Sunday has yet been made. Both Manuel and Thad Lewis, who is apparently dealing with a left shoulder injury, participated in full-team practice drills on Thursday.
Marrone held Manuel out of Sunday's win over Miami because of concerns over the rookie quarterback's mobility as he deals with his injury. The head coach therefore cited Sunday's forecast as a factor in whether or not Manuel would play in New England; currently, there's a 70 percent chance of rain that day in Foxborough.
Stevie Johnson remains excused from the team for personal reasons, while Marrone told reporters that he is "close" to ruling Aaron Williams out for the finale with his rib injury.
