After the loss to the Steelers, I posted Restoring Hope. At that time, most fans had already written the season off and nobody jumped on that bandwagon with me then. After the Jets win, there was much chatter about a chance of making the playoffs. I'm posting this to give you all a little hope(again). Yes, the loss to the Dirty Birds was a disappointment to say the least. However, if you are looking for a sliver of hope, it was an out of conference game - which counts for less than our in conference games. On top of that, all the teams we are battling with have very lose-able games remaining and they all have deficiencies. Let's take a look at the remaining schedule of the teams we are in competition with for the #6 seed.
|Enemy||Division Record||Conference Record||week14||week 15||week 16||week 17|
(See all tie-breaking procedures here):
To put it very simply, this is how the Bills can make the playoffs:
1. The Bills go 4-0
2. All of those teams finish no better than 2-2 down the final stretch here.
