At 4-8 and with the faintest of hopes for AFC playoff contention, the Buffalo Bills will nonetheless attempt to kick off a season-ending winning streak when they take on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers this afternoon at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa.
While the Bills are looking to win this contest and, in general, end the season on a hot streak, they're also kicking off a month's worth of player evaluations, particularly at the back end of their roster. Frank Summers is on today's inactive list, meaning that the Bills could be looking at players like Evan Rodriguez and Chris Gragg in their offense today. Similarly, on defense, a bit pass-rushing role could transfer from the hands of Jamaal Westerman to Ty Powell.
In general, however, the Bills are the Bills, and any lineup tweaks today are expected to be minor. In that light, many of the key figures will be trying to get better this week (looking at you, E.J. Manuel), and the team will be looking to rebound coming off of last weekend's soul-crushing overtime loss to Atlanta.
This is your open thread for the first half of today's game. Go Bills!
