I have noticed that Nix is never one to admit a mistake. For example he made a mistake signing Fitz to a long term deal. So what does he do? He has backups that are worse than him and voila no quarterback controversy. He signs career backup Taveras Jackson and he does even play one play. Mistake? Yes. So what does he do he resigns him so it doesn't look like a mistake. Ditto for Shawne Merriman. Big mistake and he compounds it by resigning him as well. Fortunately the Bills tanked or he would have resigned Chan Gailey. Fitz will stick around or else it would look like a mistake resigning him.
