I may be crazy on this one so I want to toss this out. There are a lot of people who post on this site who make predictions on what the Bills may or may not do because of the link to Buddy Nix. For example Buddy Nix scouted Mike Glennon personally so it's a done deal he is the QB for Buffalo. My question is why is this a forgone conclusion? From what I read the Bills are constantly fending off the idea that Whaley is taking over the full time gig in the near future. Russ Brandon has a new and powerful role, Whaley is the GM in waiting we have a new coach, etc. I just don't buy into the argument this year that What Buddy wants Buddy gets. This was the case the last few years, and I think we are used to it, perhaps Buffalo is simply allowing Buddy to talk since one of my Biggest Problems with him the last few years is that he made it know exactly what the Bills were doing in the draft. The only way he could have been more open was to say hey next week we are going to target Jim Smith with pick. Nix and his telegraphing the moves took away all value Buffalo might have been able to gain either with trades up or trades down, this is overall bad for a draft process. So back to my point. Am I crazy to think that Buddy doesn't have a whole lot of power in this years draft room with the Bills?
