Hello friends.
With the Bills recently deciding not to keep restricted free agents Nelson and Jones, have front offices ever signed and traded restricted free agents rather than just relinquishing their rights. I am doubtful they could have gotten much or anything for Donald Jones or David Nelson, but I was still curious of that concept. Could that have been something to utilize to accumulate late round picks? Does anyone know if this was explored?
