Thanks for voting quickly on the 7th Highest Rated Prospect poll. We had well over twice as many votes as the 6th poll before the post was pushed off the front page. DE Bjoern Werner edged QB Geno Smith for the 7th slot.

OT Luke Joeckel emerged as the highest rated prospect in the Rumblings community. OLB Jarvis Jones earned the second slot. DT Sharrif Floyd, who barely lost out to Jones for #2, came in third. OT Eric Fisher - who has been knocking on the door - got the nod for the fourth slot. CB Dee Milliner was voted 5th best player in the draft. DT Star Lotuleli comes in 6th and DE Bjoern Werner is the fifth defensive prospect in the top 7.

Remember, this is not a poll about who Buffalo or anyone else would/should pick at #8 but the player that you believe is the next best guy available at whatever position--whether he fits a team need or not. I know this is difficult to keep in mind because the Bills are (currently) slated to make the 8th pick in the draft, the QB situation is nothing less than dire, and we're all Bills fans....but try anyway. If you think some other prospect is better than any QB don't hesitate to vote for that player. I'm not saying that you shouldn't vote for a QB if you think that he's the 8th best prospect; just don't do it because you want the Bills to take a QB.

QB Matt Barkley and QB Tyler Wilson did not make the top 20 but are in the mix due to the QB overvaluing that tends to happen on draft day. S Kenny Vaccaro, CB Desmond Trufant, WR Travon Austin, OT DJ Fluker, ILB Alex Ogletree, DE Damontre Moore and TE Tyler Eifert didn't average in the top 18 so they missed the cut.

We're down to 13 total prospects now that 7 have been slotted. I'm not adding in players to keep the number at 20. The idea here is to build just the Rumblings top 10.
