I am trying to figure out what the heck the office at One Bills Drive is doing... and also what they might be thinking...

We have let go so many young talented players... how are we going to fill all the holes with 6 draft picks? The 49ers have 14... we are not the 49ers!

We have lost young talent on the O-line in Rhinehart and Levitre. We have lost speed, youth and talent at WR in Jones and Nelson. We have lost talent on defense with Barnett (we did sign an OLB\DE in Lawson...) George Wilson and McGee gone, although they were not young, we do not seem to have depth at those positions. We have only 2 QBs on the roster, neither of which is starting material.

That leaves at least 7 holes, and 6 picks. Maybe Marrone and Nix can pick up some UDFAs from Alcorn State or somewhere... but I think it is going to be a LONG period of rebuilding once again... Nix shoulda got on the same bus outta town that Gailey rode on.
