MARIO WILLIAMS should watch some TV, in the form of the NFL Network. I saw this segment this week on the NFL channel, which featured former Bills QB and 10th round pick in the 2006 draft, Vince Young to name a few of the Rookies from that draft class, Welcome to the NFL, Rookie 2006. The current face of the Buffalo Bills Brand, Mario Williams was featured as a 21 year old man who picked up numerous Tight Ends and at up Tackles and Quarterbacks for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
After watching what a few of Mario's old coaches have to say about him, you green he was and what raw passion that he brought to the game was something as a Bills fan is what Buffalo has been lacking for over a decade. The leadership and presence that Mario Williams brings to the Buffalo Bills is something that has been lacking in a player since the days of Jim Kelly. Now I am not expecting 4 Superbowls losses or even a win in a Super Bowl. There are many more talented and better managed teams out there, but I would expect the Patriots to be shells of what they used to be after losing most of their offensive weapons, and the once again mix and match miami dolphins, and of course this could be the year that the Jets...well I'm going to stop right there since theirs about a snowballs chance in hell of making it to the playoffs. To digress, the Bills need to make sure that this team as an Ethos, a Motto, and Fraternity. The Bills need to get on the same page and take ownership of their team, pride in their play and earn respect in working harder than everyone else in the league.
It all starts with what I suggest should be a must watch for all Buffalo Bills fans and something that Mario Williams needs to watch before St. John Fisher Training camp. Welcome to the NFL, Rookie 2006. That would fire him up a little more than what we saw last year. Very unimpressive due to the hype surrounding his arrival in Buffalo.
